Avatar TLA - Sweeney Todd

Posted recently on the Avatar Capslock Community on LJ by my little sister.

It started off by me playing the soundtracks to various musicals in my car. And then, around the time my sister and I were at Olive Garden (bread, soups and salad!), she paralleled some of the Avatar characters to Sweeney Todd. One soup bowl later, the vision was clear in my head and they had to be drawn.

Zuko/Sweeney Todd = banished from his land, seeking revenge
Aang/Mrs. Lovett = helps Todd achieve his goal
Toph/Johanna = sheltered rich child
Sokka/Antony = noble sailor... kind of a tool
Ozai/Turpin = squeamish-enducing pedo (haha)

And FYI, I chose the movie outfits because I never had the privilege to see it onstage. Someday, someday I will...

And although you may argue who should really play Lovett (like a female, perhaps?), the idea of Aang is pigtails was too funny to pass up. Why yes, that's Hawkie in the cage <3
